Mark your calendar because Tax Day 2025 is Tuesday, April 15. Hopefully, you will have a refund in your future, but even if you owe Uncle Sam money, there is a silver lining: Tax Day deals and freebies. That’s right! Restaurants and retailers around the country are offering everything from free food to discounts on products and services in honor of Tax Day.

Regardless of whether you receive a refund after doing your taxes this year, you can enjoy the Tax Day 2025 freebies and deals. We have compiled a list of the best promotions of 2025 as well as ones from last year that we hope will happen again!

Arby’s
Need a quick meal while you finish your taxes? Through April 27 you can get 25% off delivery on arbys.com or the app. You can also sign up to receive text messages from Arby’s Rewards to get one free sandwich and other rewards. To enjoy this deal, you needed to be a member of the Arby’s Rewards program and the offer expires 14 days after issuance.

7-Eleven
On April 13, 2025, 7-Eleven hosted its annual Bring Your Own Cup Day. Whether you’re still stressing over your taxes or celebrating the fact that you’re done with them, you can bring your own vessel and get a Slurpee drink for just $1.99. Just make sure your “cup” is watertight, clean and fits upright within the in-store dispenser. As long as you follow those rules, anything goes! If you missed that, don’t fret, you can score tax-friendly deals like $3.99 for 8-piece boneless wings or 3/$6 Celsius 12 oz.

Bean Box
Just in time for Tax Day this year, you can get your first bag of coffee free when you sign up for a Coffee Subscription from Bean Box. Plus, you will be entered for a chance to win a $100K Giveaway.

California Pizza KitchenYou can save more dough with the help of a special Tax Day promo from California Pizza Kitchen. The eatery lets you take $10 off any $40 order from April 14-17 if you’re a member of CPK Rewards.

Great American Cookies
For Tax Day 2025 (April 15), Great American Cookies offers its mouth-watering BOGO Cookie Cake slice deal at participating stores nationwide.

Hooters

This restaurant is known for offering deals for Tax Day. This year, Hooters customers can get an appetizer for only $4.15 with the Hooters app. Last year, dine-in guests could order 10 wings and receive 10 wings of any style free. Plus, Hootclub Rewards members could get a free dessert (up to $6.99 in value) on April 15.

Kona Grill
Kona Grill offered a Tax Day deal to ease the tension last year with two Kona Margaritas for $10.40. We’ve got our fingers crossed that this promo will pop up again in 2025.

Kona Ice
Tax Day can be stressful, so Kona Ice likes to help people chill out with free Kona Ice. Once again in 2025, Kona will offer free shaved ice on April 15 at participating trucks.

Krispy Kreme

You can count on Krispy Kreme to offer an annual doughnut deal on April 15 only. This year, guests who purchase a dozen doughnuts at regular price can get a second dozen of Original Glazed® doughnuts for only the sales tax in their state. Use the promo code TAXBREAK when ordering online.

Noodles & Company
To celebrate its new menu, loyalty rewards members who sign up for text messages can score deals during its “Taste Tour” now through April 26. The promotion includes special pricing on select menu items as well as BOGO deals. In previous years, Rewards Members could receive $4.15 off any purchase over $24+ on Tax Day.

Office Depot and Office MaxTo help make tax season a little less taxing, Office Depot and OfficeMax stores are offering five pounds of free shredding. The promo is back for Tax Day 2025, you’ll need to use a free shredding coupon to enjoy the savings. Offer is valid through April 26, 2025.

Potbelly
Join Potbelly Perks and get one free Original sandwich after your first order. Download its app to access the underground menu as well as exclusive offers and points you can use towards free food.

Shake Shack

Through April 27, customers can get a tax season special – enjoy a free Black Truffle Burger (Single), Black Truffle ‘Shroom or Black Truffle Parmesan Fries with a purchase of $10.40 or more (to honor everyone’s favorite tax form). Use the code TRUFFLETAX at checkout.

Shipley Do-Nuts
As one of the country’s oldest and largest doughnut brands, Shipley Do-Nuts will likely help ease the stress of Tax Day by offering a special promotion. If you’re a member of the Shipley loyalty program, you can enjoy a half-dozen box through April 15 for only $4.15.

TGI Fridays
If you need a little relief from the stress of tax season, you can expect TGI Fridays to offer its own tax break. Throughout the month, you’ll find specialty drinks, happy hour specials and BOGO promotions.

White Castle
Tax Day is on April 15 this year, so we expect White Castle to offer savings to the tune of 15% off (just like it did last year). Be on the lookout for a promo code to enjoy this discount.
