From now through Mother’s Day, May 11, Starbucks Rewards members in the U.S. and Canada can score free cold foam on any cold beverage. Whether you’re celebrating mom or just treating yourself, it’s the perfect excuse to upgrade your iced drink without spending a dime.

Starbucks cold foam is a light, creamy topping made by blending nonfat milk (or a flavored cream base) at high speed to create a silky, microfoam texture — kind of like a cold version of steamed milk froth. It’s designed to sit on top of cold drinks like Cold Brew, Iced Lattes, and Iced Chai, gradually mixing into the drink as you sip.

Starbucks offers several cold foam varieties, including:

• Vanilla Cream Cold Foam – subtly sweet and smooth
  
• Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam – sweet and salty with a buttery finish
  
• Cherry Cream Cold Foam (limited-time spring flavors) – lightly fruity flavor
  
• Lavender Cold Foam (limited-time spring flavors) – lightly floral
  
• New Brown Sugar Cream Cold Foam – caramel-like and smooth with a hint of molasses
  

It adds both flavor and texture, turning an ordinary iced drink into more of a treat.

Taking advantage of this freebie is pretty easy, but you must follow these steps:

Step 1: Make sure you’re a Starbucks Rewards member. Not signed up yet? Just download the Starbucks app or head to starbucks.com/rewards to join.

Step 2: Order any cold drink — think Cold Brew, Iced Chai, Iced Flat White, or Matcha Latte.

Step 3: Customize it with your cold foam of choice. The discount will apply automatically in the app, or you can ask your barista to apply the Cold Foam Days offer in-store or at the drive-thru.

This offer is valid for up to 50 redemptions per member, so go ahead and make it a week of foamy fun. Just remember, it’s cold drinks only, and excludes bottled or ready-to-drink items.
